The 2026 Electoral Integrity Project and Carter Center’s Virtual Elections Conference is officially underway!
Over the coming days, researchers and practitioners from around the world will come together to discuss the latest research and emerging challenges in electoral integrity, democratic governance, technology, and elections. We are delighted to welcome everyone participating this year and look forward to an engaging week of presentations and discussions.

What is Electoral Integrity?
As the conference explores many of the core issues shaping elections today, we are also pleased to highlight the recently published Cambridge Elements volume, What is Electoral Integrity? by EIP co-Directors Toby S. James and Holly Ann Garnett.
